The unique Fortress Phantom Metal Detector utilizes the latest Digital Signal Processing technology to detect and reject ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including stainless steel. Simple to use, the Phantom's interface allows users of all skill levels to easily setup products, perform tests and produce Quality Assurance reports via Fortress’s CONTACT Communication software. Quality Assurance testing on samples can be initiated on demand or by time interval; and the unique software filtering system enhances performance while minimizing false rejects.
Available in aluminum or stainless steel with a wide variety of aperture sizes, Fortress Metal Detectors are built rugged to withstand the harshest applications. For heightened stability and performance in wet product applications, the IP69K certified BSH Extra Rugged Casing is utilized. An epoxy chute provides a complete waterproof seal on IP69K rated units. Conveyor and reject systems are customized to suit product and environment.
